This lightwind/crossover kiteboard will definitely attract attention when you take it for a session. The standout underwater design and exposed wood core give it a seafaring theme like no other.
The JN Bouddok has a flat scoop rocker line and a unique shape because of its concave outline in the centre section of the board. This makes for early planing and outstanding upwind ability. Having more of the edge in the water, it feels like you are using an additional fin. You will shoot upwind and have fun in light winds when kiting with a normal board would still be very laborious.
In comparison with pure lightwind boards, the Bouddok is also a competitive weapon for freestyle and wakestyle. Through its parabolic outline it is easier to hold the edge in overpowered conditions and you don’t need as much strength to find the pop.
The 142cm version saves a lot of work for beginners and intermediate kiters. Going upwind and landing a jump has never been so easy.
